Relationship with Brora
In 1995 the five-time British Open winner and his wife made an unannounced visit to Brora golf club. They paid their green fee in the pro shop and played away. By the time they finished, word had spread and a small crowd had gathered to greet them. Thomson fell in love with the course and thus was born the start of a special relationship. We are delighted to have had such a great ambassador in Peter and are the proud owners of many personal pictures and memorabilia that he donated to the club.
